Steady drop of 10 hPa since noon on my humble station in the badlands of east Galway. Fairly gusty but nothing too strong at the moment at least.

Looking forward to seeing the rain from this front though, haven't seen rain now in nearly 6 hours. Ground is cracking open with drought.

A good strong gale blowing here in South Donegal. Usual December winds. Nothing for any one to be alarmed about. I would have no hesitation going out for a ramble along the sea front. To get there I go through a wooded lane way.

Really strong gusts in south east Kerry,
Seem more intense than the other storms this winter or maybe that's because i was expecting this to be a non event.

Squall line forming off the west coast, will be interesting to see how it travels over land.

I was just coming here to post this....very stormy in south west kerry too. I wasn't expecting it to be this strong based on the forecasts I heard. Some serious gusts hitting the house
