Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone here recently bought...

Your opening post is very very vague though.

Did someone lose a pannier on the motorway in the UK or did something really dramatic or exciting happen?

It was vague, I guess, unless you were someone that recently bought a bike in the UK and was expecting panniers... The longer story is this, a guy in Galway bought my old bike, not off me. He got in touch with me and I sent him a few bits and pieces I had left over from my ownership.

The post was on the off chance that he was on boards, in which case he would know exactly what I was talking about. I mean, surely every biker in Ireland in on boards? No?

Christ, one vague post and one misleading post. I think I ought to give up on this thread.

I did send him a few bits for free, spare key, alarm fob, service book etc, which as far as I am concerned belong to the bike, and therefore him. But he also bought some luggage off me. I am a fairly decent guy, but I don't want to give the impression that I send random people loads of free stuff!
