Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    ****ing love Martial.

United should win this. It's probably a full strength team from what's available. These games should be used to experiment a bit and let 5-6 squad players get a good run and still get through rather than putting the strongest 11 out and still be battling to get to the next round

Borthwick-Jackson has really stepped up since he got his chance. Great positional sence and never looked out of his depth in any of the games.

If nothing else the injury crisis at the back has allowed Borthwick Jackson to emerge,he is a very tidy composed player for a lad of his age,

If he continues developing his skills he will offer excellent competition for a returning Shaw.

Is Pato injury prone? I thought he was just suffering the usual Brazilian striker syndrome and had a broken heart.

Didn't know Remy was gone to Leicester. Weird one. Usually scored a goal when he got a chance.

Martial is just a beast, do you guys think we're even playing him in his best position?

He used to be. Played a lot over the last two years so looks like he's over it.

Think he looks world class up front, and just great on the wings. Wish he could get more time centrally.

Should be 1-1. 2 goals where offside should have been blown for.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,229 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Beginnings of a bald patch there for Mata. Disappointing.

I know he will probably score now but surely memphis brings more to that team then lingard does. He has been quiet again tonight and sharing some game time with memphis would do both them good.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

Wasn't too far off when I said 3-0 win earlier.

Rooney will guide him in the right direction.

Only thin Lingard seems to bring is abit of work rate which is needed as well. Personally would still have Depay, Januzaj and Pereira ahead of him.

Thought Derby were very poor, but doesn't take away from the fact Martial was immense, Valera and Rooney had a good game, and Mata, Blind and Smalling all were acceptable.

Will get LVg through the transfer window anyway...

Yeah if the linos had an instant replay and slow mo. Near impossible to call both of them live.

Utd were the better team and deserved to win.
