Just out. I'm not religious but I enjoy the hymns and the sense of togetherness. I also see the peace and tranquillity it brings to people I love who have faith. The sermon was a simple message about realising that Christmas is really all about people.

Lovely way to spend 45 minutes.

Christmas a big part of it is religious. The rest is commercialism. A blend of both is nice. Going to church is merely a reminder of what your grandparents and parents believe in. Nothing to do with religious denominations and organised religion. Nobody's going to order me to attend a mass.

Nah, I never go into a place of worship unless it has impressive architecture while Im on holidays, someone died or someone is getting married.

I try to keep my Christmases more traditional like our pagan ancestors.

Yes already been, vigil in our church was at 6. Absolutely packed to the rafters and it was a nice mass. I go every week though not just for Christmas.

I won't this year as the venue (church of choice) this year is quite poor imo.

We usually go to Ballymun Church and the atmosphere there is electric. We don't even live near Ballymun. It's the closest thing you'll get to 'black ghetto singers'. They literally give it socks and belt out Emilie Sandez tunes. However my mum is afraid to go this year as a few church goers there were forced onto their hands and knees recently whilst scumbags demanded money. So annoying.

Will not be going to church this year. I do miss the hymns and the sense of communal belief. However, when I consider it all in the round; I couldn't be bothered. I will be at home with my family, preparing Christmas dinner and watching telly etc.

Might go tomorrow all right. Not religious at all and haven't been in years but the atmosphere is relaxing and It'll give the parents a bit of peace of mind.
