Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've never tried it. I've never tried jelly either.

Yep, it was trifle, two thirds of it was custard. There is nothing more disgusting than cold custard! :(
    Yum!

What happens if you get some custard in your ears ?

    You become a trifle deaf.

Had trifle twice as dessert at Christmas. To me it tastes grand.

Jelly. Which is why English trifle is way nicer!

English trifle has jelly in it too?

I've had trifle made with that lemon meringue pie mix (the yellow part) with (its a long time ago, but I think) chocolate cake and some sort of citrus jelly - forgot the details but it was very nice!

No, it often doesn't. Jelly isn't an essential ingredient of English trifle though some people add it. Lots of English trifle recipes don't include it. Trifle is way nicer without jelly, IMO.
