Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I wonder who Man U will go for now, they should give it to Giggs til the end of the season and then get G Neville in.

Martial wins a corner (when it is really a goal kick) after throwing more shapes than Michael Jackson in his thriller video. . . He could have crossed the ball of course. . .

Haven't seen a United player strike a ball with as much venom as Arnautovic did there for a long time.

Worst thing about this is it isn't even surprising. Did anyone really expect United to score first today?

It's damage limitation now,Stoke look like they've got at least another goal in them.

Rooney isn't even on the pitch to take the blame and somehow, United are still terrible. Strange that.

LVG out, Mourinho in. It really is a no brainer at this stage.

"You're f***ing sh*t". Have to say, remembering what Stoke were like under Pulis, it's a bit rich coming from them.

But they are not under Pulis. They are under Hughes. And we are not under Fergie. We are under Van Gaal.

Hughes has done some job with Stoke. They really play decent football now.

They don't get enough credit for their actual footballing ability. Hughes has done a great job. He has kept that hard working, solid, tough to beat philosophy they had under Pulis and expanded on it. They play genuinely good football I like watching them... All be it not today.... Very unfair on Stoke that people insist on labelling them as a modern day Wimbledon type of side. You hear much more about 'wet and windy Stoke' then the fact that they are a very decent side.

Depay was one-dimensional in the world cup so I thought he was a strange signing despite what he achieved in the eredivisie.

He is done, the lack of senior figures in the executive seats says it all

    Schneiderlin should have started.

I'd be shocked to see him sacked before the season ends

Bringing in Mourinho now is a no brainer to be honest. As a club, Man U can't keep going on like this as much as i want them to. Mourinho might only stick around for two or three years, but he'll have them more competitive than this.

how does the assistant referee not see that hit Martial

Utd can't string a few passes together even. This season has been endless possession with no result for the main part, now there isn't even the possession.

Should be a booking for that dive for Martial.

I just don't see that happening but you never know, Jose really really wants it.

  • Martial should have gotten yellow there

I think every non united fan would agree. Giggs will manage to make things even worse.

should of been 3. Wont be long til it is the way United are playing. Brutal.

    Im delighted

Fellaini and Martial press, nobody else does giving Bojan space to drop into and time on the ball to pick out the run of Arnautovic.

Has a manager ever been sacked midgame. Not even Fergie himself could fix this mess.

Martin Jol was as good as.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Maybe the Arnautovic miss will be the turning point?

rooney has to come on at half time for martial. need someone who's been there, done that before up front.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

What a miss. Utd could be dead and buried. Should be even.

Posted this in the wrong thread first, oops.

    Don't get inexperienced managers.

And Arsenal fans wanted rid of Wenger...

Cant believe people are calling for Rooney. Have you seen him play recently at all. He is next to useless

  • Come on utd

Nick a goal before half time

Then lvg get your head out of your arse and sort out the formation second half

This is what happens when you make several muck signings. All started with Mata and went downhill from there.

Rooney has been there and done what over the past couple of seasons?
His recent record is very poor.

United stringing a few passes together and looking threatening . . . Why didn't they start like this?

Head injury and they keep playing- stay classy United...

I hate this clamour to put the ball out of someone is down. If the ref doesn't stop it, play on. That's a pet hate of mine, no matter who is playing.

    Go away with yourself.

Fair enough we are playing terribly and we deserve the stick were getting now, but that's just horse****

Eh no! Martial has been Utd most impressive outfield player all season, Rooney has been awful.

There's no quick fix for this. Problems are more deep rooted than the personel.

agreed, needs to be played up front imho. i know he's not been super but has to be better than martial/fellani out there today

It's up to the ref to stop play. Man U were perfectly entitled to play on.

It's mad to think that the form United are in that are still in and around 4th. Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs to a lesser extent really do keep the door open for them.
Nobody seems capable of stringing a run together bar Leicester and Arsenal
