Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Rooney messed up

Rooney has to be the one taking that chance

Really should have scored there with the numbers in attack.

Are the United players all on low calorie cutting diets or something? Have watched a good few games this year and always easily knocked off the ball and out muscled.

    Weak of spirit.

Under Moyes I was annoyed by some of the football.

Honestly nothing as bad as this.

    Singing Jose Mourinho now.

Nice bit of play, unlucky by Rooney with the footing.

Grown man wearing a mask and that P45 thing, this is what football has come to. Pathetic.

Dude gonna get sacked. Didn't really need to show the close up of the P45 sign with the lad in the Mourinho mask.

Can't see united winning unless they score 3 and Stoke score no more.

    Thanks Owen

Utd fans singing for Mourinho. Even Moyes never really got the fans as angry as this at games.

Genuinely can't see lvg being kept anymore. Enough is enough.

Fairly pathetic if that was the United fans singing Mourinho's name

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Man Utd fans singing for Mourinho but what he can do with that squad I'm not sure and the baggage he brings is greater than any top level coach I can think of, asking for trouble.

Not nice from the fans there.

Are they any different to the lads in here?

With how loud the fan chants of Mourinho were. Would they not have been Stoke fans taking the piss?

Surely not the same Jose that utd fans poured scorn on for his boring style of football, derided for his antics and professed to hate until recently?

Utd fans are just like all fans - the turn on a manager who loses too many games is savage. That's modern football, nothing to be surprised about.

Exactly. Don't know why Sky are saying LVG's plan backfired. They most likely still would have been 2-0 down at half time regardless.

SKY bigging him up there at the end for showing fight and agression that his teammates didn't

The issues came from Fergie not being allowed to spend in his last years to prepare for the next manager.

Again, and you probably don't have to be told, the results are one thing...the septic, boring, heartless football being played is a great cause for anger.

    Explain???

  • Been a tough few years being a utd fan

I can give credit to fans of other teams though who were not baked in glory for years

You can't always win and as tough as it is to take I can respect opposition fans who follow the team with the same passion through the pain

Something I'm starting to get to used too :(

Lvg will be gone now, no going back now I'm afraid

  • Registered Users Posts: 739 ✭✭✭Cantstandsya

LVG has been fairly arrogant and asking the journalists for an apology the other day was a joke.

It's a pity that the fans are singing Mourinho's name but LVG has made a rod for his own back with his attitude.

I think part of why the fans never turned on Moyes to this extent is that he seemed like a nice guy. Not suggesting that being a nice guy makes you a good manager but LVG is just as bad as Moyes... and he's also a twat.

Not something that modern managers do....far better to wait to be sacked and hence paid off

Although last year Armin Veh, as manager of Stuttgart, put his hands up and stated it wasn't working out with him as manager and Stuttgart at the bottom of the BL

He told their board that it was time to appoint someone else and that he didn't want their money

Such class is a rare commodity in football

The guy in the mask will boo and don the mask of someone else and continue to think he is a die-hard fan of Manchester United.

That was surely the stoke fans singing for Mourinho. Today in isolation isn't that bad a result for utd horrible conditions and stoke are a decent team. The problem is going out of the cl and then taking 1 pt from games against west ham Bournemouth and Norwich.

As much as I've no faith in LVG since mid last season , No way to José, put an interim manager in till Summer. ... have a proper look for a replacement.

    LOL

Losing 2-0 was embarrassing- Rooney didn't add anything- rowed with the officials and mis hit a great chance

    So what's unintelligent about that???
