Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The winners of this game are all but certain to win the title, so a big game in store at Anfield.

This thread is dedicated to Grayditch and that American kid from the twitter thing.

Liverpools 4000th league game in the top tier of English football.

If Liverpool don't give away any cheap goals, then I think its three points for the Reds.

Odds are stacked against them so if your banking on Liverpool to not give away cheap goals

If Watford can do the run around your defense so easily I fear what Vardy and marherz are going to do to it

What I will say Liverpool do up there game against top opposition and Leicester deserve that title at the moment

    2-1 to Leicester

    Leicester are 3/1

Hard to believe Leicester are almost 3/1 to win this game.

United losing, so I have every faith in us doing the same. We haven't really had a chance to enjoy their failure at all this year.

Yep, this game (and thread) will give utd fans some much needed respite and happiness I'd say.

Am I posting in a gloating manner? Have my posts been biased in any way? I'm watching a match and commenting on it.

Actually I'm sat in my warm cosy clothes on a recliner with my first can of beer of the day open beside me, and a box of sweets not far away watching a football match with a score I approve of. It doesn't get much better than this.

I'll need the drink between 3 and 5 anyhow.

Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno, Can, Henderson, Lallana, Firmino, Coutinho, Origi

Subs: Bogdan, Toure, Benteke, Lucas, Allen, Teixeira, Randall

    w00t! :)

No Lucas (or Benteke! :pac:) indicates attack is the word of the day.

    No Ibe though :(

Lallana, Firmino, Coutinho.... hope i'm wrong but i think we could struggle again.. too weak.. :(

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Very attacking team. Could be left very exposed against Leicester's counter attack.

We'll be exposed against any sort of Leicester attack with that defence

I have no doubt we will win today

Yeah, unless Can is playing a more disciplined defensive role than we've seen of him before, we'll be very open to the counter, against the best countering team in the league :-/

I kind of hope either Can or Hendo are being told to basically man mark Mahrez. They have other weapons, but so much of their best play goes through him.

Bookmakers have Liverpool at 1/1s, if you reckon the odds are stacked against us you must find much appeal in Leicester or Draw at 5/6 :D

While you are here M!Ck, I notice you don't call into our thread anymore much these days :pac:

Looking for a big performance from Firmino today. Has been really disappointing the last few games, really need more from him. Will be interesting to see how Sakho and Lovren get on today also.

    .......

    No Lucas........

Klopp knows the games we need Lucas in, very few. Thankfully.

Stoke have put together a very decent team.

It's a mad league this year and there are no bankers at all anymore where you can put your finger on a fixture and say we will win that one.

Lallana is the slowest player ever

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Seriously though, if Leicester win today, they are 11 points ahead of 5th and really set up for top 4 finish which would be one of the most astounding achievements in modern football.
