Maybe ddg to lloris. Vardy looks tired. Kolarov is in a team that can't keep cleanies. Want Walcott as well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

De Gea to Butland and Hoolahan out for Alli done before i lose the run of myself.

Should have moved for butland last GW but i banked the transfer. Decisions done and no overthinking it

Only concerns now are kolarov and bellerin not getting attacking points and having 2 spurs players and will have 3 if i decide to pull the trigger on Vardy out

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,502 ✭✭✭spock.

    Eriksen --> Ramsey/Walcott/Alli

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,369 ✭✭✭the incredible pudding

DDG to Cech? Or I could go McCarthy to Cech (have like 6.2 in the bank so money isn't really an issue). Vardy to Ighalo is tempting but I do hate Ighalo very, very much. Kolarov could also go for someone, palace defender maybe.
    Ugh, I dunno.

Have 2 FTS. Bolasie out anyway.

Pulisball is dead and buried. So Myhill may have to go.

But I'd like Walcott in. Midfield is Ozil KDB Alli Mahrez Deulofeu. Deulofeu out and I have the cash for it. Lukaku Kane Vardy upfront. So I'll have to choose who to bench beforehand... KDB? considering City away form...?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

Kone (fond farewell - NOT), to Ighalo

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,268 ✭✭✭IsMiseMyself

Myhill to Fabianski (I already have Woolschied) and possibly Smalling to Bellerin, though I might wait until the next gw to make that transfer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,818 ✭✭✭Inspector Coptoor

    Have 2 FTs

    Thinking about
    Vardy out for Kane
    Kouyaté out for Yaya
    Or Darmian out for Johnson

  • Registered Users Posts: 973 ✭✭✭internet_user

hmm Dawson to either glen johnson or shawcross

You're going to still have Mata in GW38 :pac:

After 18 weeks, I might bank my first transfer! Dawson and Kolarov concerns, though, but Kompany is back and Brom have the fixtures.

Kompany went off injured again today.

Want to get rid of De Gea and Dawson...for who though I'm not sure...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

    Ah...

To the bench for Kolarov then!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,101 ✭✭✭Antibac

Tempted by a West Ham defender in for Kolarov as they have a few decent fixtures and then switch to west Brim one. Thoughts?

Tomkins and Cresswell both doubts for Monday. I would forget about a WBA defender, they're done

Want rid of Myhill. Butland the obvious candidate but I already have Wollscheid. I suppose I could just play But every game and then double up for the easier fixtures though they don't have many of those in the near future.

    Anyone thinking of ditching Vardy???

Sounds like he was pretty anonymous today so maybe he's going off the boil

Ranieiri said he was suffering with a fever. City and Bournemouth at home up next...I'll be keeping him for now.

I'm thinking of benching Mahrez for Coutinho and maybe even shipping the tired Vardy out for Ighalo who seems fixture proof now!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 855 ✭✭✭mectavba

Have 2 free transfers so I have done Martin & Barkley to Bellerin & yaya.

Biggest conundrum is what to do with doubles lloris & dier/myhill & Evans

Spurs play a free scoring Watford away. West brom Newcastle at home.

Not sure whether to split them or put all my eggs in one basket.

    Any thoughts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,830 ✭✭✭✭dahat

    Likely to bank it hopefully.

Anyone with their Wildcard intact, don't forget, use it or lose it before next deadline!

I don't like 'tell me what to do with my team' posts, but I'm all out of ideas so here goes. Looking at low 40s points today, an OR of lower than 500k and a 100 point deficit in a league I've won (handily) in 3 of the last 4 years.

I have 1FT but willing to take up to a -8 hit. An alternative is to patch it up for Monday and WC in GW20...

What would you do with this lot?

    DeGea, McCarthy
    Kolorov, Bellerin, Dawson (Moreno, Francis)
    KDB, Ozil, Mahrez, Barkley (Westwood)
    Lukaku (c), Vardy, Ighalo.

    8.5m in the bank

    Out in this order

    Kolorov
    DeGea
    Barkley
    Moreno

    In

    Alderweireld/Dier
    Alli
    Nyom
    Any keeper except DeGea

Ranieiri said he was suffering with a fever.

I'll only keep him if he tries some cowbell!

this arsenal game is not making it easier to choose between Ramsey or Walcott
or making a double up with ozil very appealing at all !

I'd also keep an eye on Vardy, few reports of some fatigue /sickness today about him.

    :D
think ill go for Ramsey as I think he is more likely to play the 180 mins
not really a captain option though which walcott could be

Your team isn't in that bad of order imo....
Butland or Cech for De Gea
    Kane for Vardy

Would see you ok for a while, people being a bit harsh on Barkley methinks

arsenal were so very very poor ........not sure now

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,268 ✭✭✭IsMiseMyself

Well that Arsenal display isn't inspiring a rush sale of Smalling anyway. Might just ship Myhill out and keep Smalling for another week!

Defender for 5.2? Not gonna go with a Stoke one as their fixtures get very unpleasant now and Butland is the one I want there. Already have Ward and Moreno in this price range so someone else. Spurs and Southampton (for now) are already covered in this defence with an Arsenal keeper.

I have to shift Bolasie, no idea on replacements. I have Kdb, Ozil, Mahrez and D Fletcher, money is no object. Ideas?

I have the same problem having brought Bolasie in for a -4 this week.

I'm thinking Henderson but more likely Coutinho. Either would be the first Liverpool player I've brought in this year.

    What to do with Kun....

Both times I've transferred him in this season he's f*cked me but not sure if its worth dumping him and getting Kane back in (again). Have 2FTs - Barkely is on the block as well but dunno for who

He'll for sure play against Leicester. Who finally seem to have run a bit low on steam.

I'll be keeping him. Not that unhappy with the team other than Sterling. I had planned him to Bolasie but may now bank it and let the dust from this latest collapse settle.

So this is what Prodston has been banging on about this last couple of years! :)

You can't conclude that from one game.

I got rid of Vardy and Barkley for Kane & Yaya Toure.

My team is now taking a pretty decent look about it but still need to get rid of Darmian.
Maybe next GW I'll actually get to ships him out.

True. And it wasn't meant to be a conclusion. Not even seen the highlights yet, just some of the reports and post match comments.

But Vardy has been well below his earlier form. He had 6 shots with only 3 on target in the 4 games before today and had previously talked about carrying a knock into every game and apparently played with an illness today. A rest seems likely. Meanwhile Ranieri said after today's game "Riyad Mahrez was very tired."

By any standards of judgement Leicester and Vardez, or Vardy at least, have been overperforming. A bit of fatigue and a first defeat in 16 games or so is worth keeping an eye on at least.

Vardy is yellow flagged. For what? Sorry for lazy question but am writing from the phone for the first time and am not yet fully used to it ...

Ranieri: "Jamie Vardy played with a fever and I had to change him and Riyad Mahrez was very tired." #LCFC

    Illness. To be assessed

Had 2 free transfers and went with:

Vardy, Coutinho and Richards out for Ighalo, Alli and Bellerin for -4 before the price rises.
