Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yes it is. The equaliser makes very little difference.

Newcastle will beat Villa and then have a home game against a Spurs side with nothing to play for and minus one of their best players on the final day. They'll get at least another 4 points which will be more than enough.

Huge win. Means nothing if Arsenal don't beat Norwich though.

That's a massive point for Sunderland. Due to the fact their goal difference is so much better than Norwich and Newcastle's. It means a point in that game in hand and match Newcastle's other results and they are safe.

Can't see Norwich staying up now. Think Newcastle might just survive but it's a flip of a coin between them and Sunderland

Newcastle will take at least 4 points from Villa and Spurs giving them 37. They could easily take 6 points giving them 39.

Sunderland won't even reach 37 points. 36 points is their limit. They'll get a maximum of 4 from Everton (H), Chelsea (H), Watford (A) and probably less. It's done.

I wouldn't be so sure Spurs will have nothing to play for going into the last game.

Even if Leicester take the title this weekend, a win for Chelsea over Spurs and an Arsenal win today over Norwich brings Arsenal within two points of Spurs. If there's a chance Arsenal could go ahead of them then that's plenty of incentive for Spurs to be focused for Newcastle.

Ignoring the fact that they're pretty rubbish, Sunderland could easily take 7 points from that run given the teams they are facing have nothing to play for.

For Newcastle, its looking increasingly like Spurs will have nothing to play for in the last game. The worry is the shocking lack of quality in the side. I watched their game today and they seemed to have no cutting edge in attack at all. That said, Palace parked the bus and its a hugely important win

Lets see if Norwich can do something now
