Ah come on, I was supporting Lawlor but Condit should have gotten that one.

    Condit via Submission
Yeah it was going to be hard to call against him after that last round. Need a rematch.

Triple Threat against Condit and MacDonald at 200? :pac:

    Duffy via Submission
Bull**** decision. I had condit winning 1,3 and 4.

I'm sorry but no way did Robbie win that. I had Condit minimum 3 rounds up.

    Duffy via Submission
Round 3 was very tough to call. I'd love to see that fight again.

The only thing I can think of is that Robbie had a lot of Octagon control, even though Condit was throwing more and generally more impressive he was up against the cage an awful lot.

that was no a robbery by any stretch both winners neither deserved to lose.

I'd love to see statistics for how often the current champion gets the split when it comes down to it. Anyone?

I don't think it was a robbery or anything by the way, it comes down to whatever way you call the 3rd as 1, 2, 4 and 5 are pretty straightforward IMO, I'd just be interested in seeing.

True, I still though Condit controlled it. He easy had 3 rounds.

I would have given a draw before giving it to Lawlor.

Condit made the mistake of not being trained by god

Had Condit 1,3 and 4 personally but it was very close. Great main event to cap off a great night of fights.

How the hell can you sleep after that? :D

Yeah the 4th was convincing enough to be a 10-8 imo but I guess they're never going to give one against the champ in a close title fight...

Thought Condit did enough to win that but there has to be a rematch. Great night of fighting it must be said...now I'm off to get a few hours kip. I'll be a walking zombie tomorrow.

Is there any better 5th round fighter than robbie lawler he digs into the reserve tank of fumes and drives foward what an absolute legend.

    Duffy via Submission
Brilliant card from top to bottom. No pressure rest of the year's cards. :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

There goes Duffy's $50,000 anyway. I'm sure the $2,500 from Reebok will make up for it. :pac:

Getting to bed whilst it's still dark feels unusual on a ufc fight night!

  • Registered Users Posts: 796 ✭✭✭Deadst4r

Gutted for Condit. Did everything right, that was honestly his fight, Lawler went for it in the fifth because he needed a knockout...

Amazing fight, I don't see an immediate rematch and Carlos is talking about retiring. Lots of fighters do, but Jesus that's disheartening there.

FOTN = Lawler v Condit hands down
    POTN = Miocic and Trujillo

Unfortunately he won't pocket anything. $18,500 for him all in tonight ($16,000 show money and $2,500 Reebok payment).
