Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi guys just wondering wondered does the UPC set top box work like the sky box in that if you stop paying subscription you can then watch free TV? With sky box the facility to record dies is that similar to UPC STB? THANKS

No. There are a small number of channels that you can watch unencrypted, but if you do not pay Virgin you are not guarenteed any service. In particular if you aren't taking any other Virgin product (eg broadband) they are within their rights to send a service agent out to physically cut your connection to the network.

You actually rent the box as opposed to owning a sky box so, if you no linger use their TV service, they will probably want the box back

You'd still get some analogue channels, but a lot of addresses aren't getting analgue anymore, if they switch you off at the tap (cancel all services) then you won't get these. As said above if you have broadband but just cancel tv then tap will still be connected.
