Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thought this was worth a watch - gave me a laugh anyhow. A 1987 Late Late Show clip of what Ireland didn't have 25 years earlier in 1962. Done in cartoon format which was quite good. Mad the things which were included and how much life has moved on since. Also has a great shot of Pat Kenny near the end with Deirdre Barlow…

A 1987 Late Late Show clip of what Ireland didn't have 25 years earlier in 1962. Done in cartoon format which was quite good.

Mad the things which were included and how much life has moved on since.

Also has a great shot of Pat Kenny near the end with Deirdre Barlow style glasses.

There was definitely Dunnes Stores in 1962... maybe only in Cork, though.

BHS have come and gone so often between the 60s and now (including a Jervis "launch" that I believe never actually happened: http://www.irishtimes.com/life-and-style/homes-and-property/bhs-to-open-flagship-store-in-jervis-shopping-centre-1.62058) that I can't confirm or deny that they were there in 1962, or even 1987 for that matter!
