its raining, its cold and there is a fair wind picking up in the last hour. It wouldnt be too bad if the wind died down

Like the Sportsground so. It'll feel like a home game! :D

Is there somewhere to get coffee near the north stand? It's not for putting whiskey in, honest!

Marmion put in a massive hit on one of the Ulster players the other day. Hope he has a go at Te'o this week :D

He put Robbie Diack on his ass. It was impressive.

Will feel like a home game for Connacht with this weather.

I may have forgotten to print my ticket. Anywhere near the RDS that I could?

Yep. There's a coffee counter close by. Coffee is OK too.

    Add your reply here.

Get it emailed to your phone?

Or get someone to photo the bar code and send to you?

    I'm assuming both would work

I don't really have a problem with the rain. It's that wind that's blowing in and out. Could destroy the game if it's going down the pitch

Just saw this - I'm near my office on Baggot Street for another bit before heading to the game if your stuck just let me know through PM and I'll try and meet you, can print ticket there no hassle.

Yellow spot!? Are you sure you're not a Leinster man with expensive taste like that?

Don't suppose this is on anywhere other than TG4?

Couldn't travel today unfortunately. Expecting a big performance from Connacht. Connacht to win by 2 and Muldoon MotM.

This should be a decent game.
Connacht almost at full strength(minus 2-3).
wont be much in it<hopefully from a connacht point of view.
    Looking forwar to it.
    Hon Connacht!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,187 ✭✭✭seanin4711

It'll be a good opportunity for the exciting young Connacht talent to impress their future employers.

    ara come on now!
but if connacht loose this due to missed kicks , carty you can have!

Is there any way to get English commentary?

You could listen to the Galway bay fm or RTE radio commentary and mute the tv but they'll most likely be out of sync slightly, some people don't mind it but it bugs me so I just put up with the Irish commentary

Same problem for me, seems to think I am not in Ireland

Dopey from Marmion. Told to stay repeatedly and then goes offside still.

Strong defence from Leinster, particularly McCarthy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

And that was dopey from Leinster to lost that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,818 ✭✭✭Inspector Coptoor

    Silly call from Clancy.
He told Marmion to get onside.
Reddan puts hands on ball and is tackled by Marmion and then he pings him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 161 ✭✭Triumvirate

Can only assume terrible conditions are contributing to decisions not to go for sticks?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

    Sexton seems pretty pumped up.

Maul defence for Connacht has really improved

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,433 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

Has to be a yellow for that kick in from the side.

    [edit] Apparently not.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

Blatantly stepping in from the side to kick the ball. That should be a yellow.

  • Registered Users Posts: 161 ✭✭Triumvirate

Really stupid penalty from them there at the breakdown and should be a yellow card, really. Straight in the side to kill the ball on a turnover.

    Looks even worse on replay.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Has to be a yellow for that kick in from the side.

    Just a penalty.

Leinster need to get something out of this pressure.

  • Registered Users Posts: 161 ✭✭Triumvirate

Clancy being extremely lenient here. I think that's 5 penalties in the opening 13 minutes including 4 in the 22.

He's given a warning now. About time.

Came on here just to post that! It's been a huge weakness in our game so far this season.

The one against Marmion and Nathan White were very harsh.
White couldn't roll away as he was trapped.

    He has warned them now.
Next penalty in the 22 will be a yellow.

3 points not a great return from leinster from such a dominant position in the first 15.

When was the last time we had any sort of a backs move when camped on the opposition 5 ? Its like junior level stuff, no other thought in their heads outside of having a big forward try to smash through 2 or 3 players from a yard away . No inventivness at all.
