Next iPhone revision is likely to move to USB-C though as is the entire industry.

Getting rid of the headphone jack though (or so its rumoured).

That's unlikely and would be very, very bad for business.

So was dropping the floppy drive from the iMac and the dvd drive from the MacBook Pro. Seems to have worked out ok, universe is still here.

I've come to realise Apple in its entirety can be difficult at best. Between constantly changing the chargers (and making irrelevant 3 docking stations of mine) to an even worse charger each time and the exorbitant prices for phones when you can actually get better specs with Samsung for less.

Constantly. They've changed the charger once. In 8 years.

More then likely going to happen.

Reports saying that Apple are developing wireless earbuds for the iPhone 7 (as a add-on) with classic earbuds via lightning or USB-C if they go that way.

Don't really see the fuss tbh. For the most part, stock headphones from Apple are sufficient, and if you reallt want to use your own or old headphones, there's obviously going to be small adapters. Apple is a industry changer, they change the ports for headphones? Brands will just make headphones with that connectivity :)

    Wireless all the way though...
