I have tried, Homebase, Woodies, O'Briens in Castleisland plus the one near Nana Bea's cafe, does anyone know of any other Lighting Stores in the area including Tralee or Killarney.

I tried both, Boyles don't do lighting and Castlelighting is mega expensive.

Yes I figured that when you posted but couldn't think of proper name (senior moment!). I was actually trying to remember if it was just lamps they had or proper fittings. Are you looking for something in particular or just in general? I do remember when we building our house there was a shortage of choice in the lighting department. I'm thinking things haven't changed that much.

We are looking for a couple of Standard Lamps and a ceiling light, we might have to travel to Cork I am thinking.

Standard lamps very hard to find for some reason & they used to be in every house once. Moriartys furniture (not far from Boyles) have some standard lamps. Their sale starts Sunday (don't think they open till 2pm).
There's a furniture store just outside Rathkeale that I remember earmarking as having nice lamps. Also lovely furniture (modern/funky) just in Newcastlewest (kerry side). From my window shopping they have lovely stuff. For standard lamps try the furniture stores. There's a good few tralee/killarney.
If you have something specific in mind I'd ask as they often can order specifics rather than stock everything & not sell. I have found Moriartys good for this with furniture.
Also you could trawl argos.ie however impossible to judge quality before you take it home.
If its the old fashioned swirly leg standard lamp try donedeal etc. People often doing up rooms having a clear out.
Theres a killarney buy&sell page on fb often nice furniture crops up there. Some light fittings the odd time.
Finally don't rule out Ikea for lamps & fittings. Was in a huge Ikea over the summer & the choice!!! If only we lived closer or were starting again! Theres an ikea man with a van business who will collect deliver & assemble etc. They hav fb page so a search should show it. Let me know if you cant find it.

Thank you so much for all your help, I might have a look in Moriarty's sale, I bought some furniture from them and it was excellent.

Try the likes of Kellihers Electrical - they supply trade & public and they'll have some on display, but most are ordered via catalogues.

Other option is online dmlights.com is a place I use for specialist lighting - based in Belgium and take about 7-10 days for delivery (free over €300).

Plenty of other online companies, but you will need to buy from pictures rather than actually seeing it.
