Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thats sad to hear. Newcastle fans had a minutes applause for him at the last game didnt they? Hadnt realised he was still in a coma, thought they were just giving him support and a general "get well soon".

They had been chanting "Pavel is a Geordie" at half time. It was being recorded and being brought over to him to be played back to him.

Very sad news that he has passed away. RIP Pavel.

    RIP.

Not the tallest for his position, but a very good goalkeeper, excellent in one on one situations.

One of the best shot stoppers from point blank range to grace the Premiership.

Ah damn. Anyone who remembers the nineties will remember him well. That's awful to hear.

    Heart attack was it?

Interested to know was it an underlying condition or not. I'd imagine underlying heart conditions in current players are picked up more than they were 20 years ago

Only hearing about this now. Very sad news.

One of Newcastle's finest goalkeepers. Only very recently brought out a book and was due to travel to Newcastle as part of the book tour I believe.

    Awful news.
