For the attention of CMod 'The Hill Billy' please.

I've been banned from the forum, according to the Moderator BryanF, "for ignoring a moderator's instructions".
I've contact him by PM and patiently waited four days for a reply. His response has left me no better informed than I was when I opened the thread in question, http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057524922
From his sparse communications I've deduced that I'm alleged to have included ads linking company names in both posts.
The only link included in the posts is a link to a video I found on facebook. I've watched it again and again and can't identify any company name in the link or video. Its even posted in some foreign language. I'm dumbfounded.

In trying to decorate my house, I posted asking fellow boards.ie members for information. I can't comprehend why BryanF has effectively censored my thread and imposed a ban on me.
He didn't identify himself as a Mod when he commented on my posts and, had he done so, I'm confident neither my ban nor this escalation would have occurred.
Please give this matter your timely attention and remove my ban, thereby enabling me to call on fellow members for assistance in acquiring information on the specialised plastering technique I've linked to.
Happy new year to one and all on boards.ie

Thank you for your so very prompt response.
I didn't expect this and I was prepared to wait a reasonable length of time for a reaction as I'm conscious of the fact that Mods have a life too and have lots of better things to be doing than paying attention to my complaining, especially at this time of year. As I mention in my post, I patiently waited 4 days for a response from BryanF even though the site recommends waiting only a day or two before bringing the matter to the attention of a CMod. I only bring the matter to your attention because I'm of the opinion that nothing will be achieved otherwise.
I'll PM the information you've requested immediately.
    Thanks again.

Hi bagels - I have lifted your ban with immediate effect as it is clear that you were posting an example of the type of work you were looking to be done & not advertising.

I have also asked the mods to clarify/amend the rules in the charter regarding advertising.

    Apologies for any inconvenience.

No harm done. Thank you for dealing with this matter in such a timely fashion, whatever the outcome. I'm grateful to you and the rest of the Mods, CMods and Admins for all the work ye put in to make boards.ie the hugely successful social media site it is.
