Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Did BradLOLey really refer to the Bray game as a cup final?

or is he just getting the Harry Kane treatment?

great to get our first win of the season last night following on from the good performance on friday , kelly and martin russell have wanderers scrapping at last . rovers were very poor and did not play the conditions well as at all when they had the gale force win at their backs in the first half . the sending off was silly , kicked out more in frustration rather than looking to kick the player . rovers keeper made a cracking save in the 2nd half from mccabe that would have made in 2-0 . during the game bradley seemed very quiet with his number 2 doing most of the shouting

    onwards and upwards

Bray seemed to have turned a bit of a corner. Limerick will be worried now.

    Suspensions are really hurting waterford

I really hope Rovers stick with Bradley.

    Rovers so poor tonight.

Greg Bolger past it legs completly gone. Boyle is awful. Unsure why Gilchrist is starting as well.

I expect Bradley to be sacked in the morning.

Great win for Derry if they tighten up at the back they could challenge . Cork & Dundalk not as strong this season.
I have seen this being purported by a number of people. Why do people not think Dundalk are as strong this season? Unbeaten, only conceded one goal and won 7 out of their 10 games.

Lost too many players in the last few years.

Murray not really doing much. Connolly a complete dud & O'Donnell is possibly not far off retirement always injured. Duffy,Cleary & Hoban doing very well.

Stats wise they are doing great but I think for instance they won't be opening up a gap like they did in 2015,2016.

What about Hoban returning and looking better than ever. Duffy is showing form as good as any of the other players that went to England. The defense looks very solid. Rogers looks back to his best. The depth of the squad is excellent.

I think this squad is almost as good as they have been.

Connolly must be one of the worst signings in the league ever? 40k? Not sure if he will ever turn it around for Dundalk.

Looking like the same two horse race again in the PD.

Hearing one PD manager is up for the chop.

    A bit of brad luck.

Real men against boys stuff in Limerick, Dundalk just bossed every area of the pitch for an hour, then relaxed and let us pass it round where we could do no damage.

The gap in quality between the two teams was incredible.

Bradley was at Limerick vs Dundalk

Duffy is superb best player in the league imo. Should get more recognition.

Sean Hoare in for Dan Cleary. Dundalk rotating the squad or Cleary injured/suspended? First league match Cleary has missed, Gartland fighting for his place now.

Cleary reported a tight hamstring after the Bray game. Rest/precaution before the Derry game.

Not a whole pile to say about Dundalk vs Limerick other than that Dundalk were far superior. Limerick were totally heartless, never really looked like doing anything and only had one or two real chances at best. It was apparent early on watching Dundalk just walk past blue jerseys with ease that it was going to be a long night, it featured lot of pointless hoofing at times too. Conor Clifford looks very decent while Willy Fitzgerald had a decent showing again.

The outgoing board said we are going to a redeveloped Dalyer but there’s no sign of the redevelopment.

New man might have his own idea on things too.

    Fingers crossed.

Think it's a bit of a mad one tbh. Can't see Shels ever growing in Bohs' catchment area.

The best of keepers can make gaffes but its how they react after that is important and also how their manager builds their confidence when needed. Horgan has put in a couple solid performances since the Dundalk game especially against Bohs but the early chopping and changing of the keepers by Bradley cant have helped either of them. I'm not convinced that just signing a tried and tested keeper like Mannus will sort Rovers fragile defence tbh. It will help to have an experienced head like Mannus but the problems run a bit deeper. Finn has been sloppy by his own standards, not just in Bray but generally doesnt look as fit as he should. Bolger was brought in to improve Rovers defensively as we can see they are good going forward - O'Brien was harsh in how he put things on Soccer Republic but not wrong in his observations

In keeping with the title of this thread, rumour all is not well between Finn and Rovers. Could be just that - rumour. But I did hear it a few weeks ago.

    Have Shels a new investor?

Can’t see it working either, but what’s the alternative if Dublin CC hold both leases and refuse to renew Tolka?

Move northwards? Swords has a massive population and could great with a club that identifies itself with the town. And the FAI would be ever so grateful.

Two chances of SK EVER signing RF again, and one of those zero. The other is definitely zero. He knew Horgan and Boyle were going. Finns transfer came in on the blindside, SK was not a happy bunny. Anyway he’s 30, now past his prime.

Mannus is a great signing for Rovers but only papering over the cracks, just don't think Bradley will ever have the credentials to lead a title charge.

What odds Bradley will still be in charge come July 1st when Mannus is available?

Hopefully very low odds. Seems a nice guy, but a spoofer who's out of his depth.

Andrew Doyle - ex Rovers board member for the past year. Was brought in by Ray Wilson as part of his funding for the new academy ground but left due to Jonathon Roche...

He has made Rovers a laughing stock

Alan Cawley a good pundit gave constructive criticism and Bradley reacted like a little child

Very disrespectful too in saying 'its their cup final'' etc and certainly does the Oppositions team talk for them. How many ''Cup Finals'' has he lost now?.

Way out of his depth, was said last year he could do with some media training on how not to come across like a Pub team manager.

Stephen Kenny was annoyed that his out of contract player signed for another club? Stephen Kenny was surprised that a player who hadn't signed a new contract was looking elsewhere? Is Stephen Kenny an idiot?

He may be past his prime but he is still a very good good footballer.

He has let his physical conditioning slip.

He had to work very hard at Dundalk to get into the team and he became a stronger player as a result. He is coasting at Rovers, and that is obvious for all to see.

I doubt Kenny would re-sign him. Finn excelled at Dundalk as he was pushed by Towell and O'Donnell to get to a high level. He is not a player who can be relied on to get himself to that level.
