Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

West ham generally don't do the business against mid table teams :p

    2-1 Liverpool

I just created one of these threads :o

With West Ham drawing a lot and Liverpool struggling to score, 0-0 or 1-1 seems a likely score today I reckon.

I'd take a point now tbh, dont fancy us to win, missing too many grafters.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,692 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

Lanzini and Payet(bench) both back for the hammers probably means that they won't be drawing too many more. That's 90% of their creativity.

Thats a very poor bench for Liverpool. No real gamechanger if needs be

Hopefully secret agent Nervol doesn't make an appearance for West Ham again today.

If you compare the two benches this looks like it might be a tough game for Liverpool, West Ham have a good squad. Still think Liverpool will get something from this but if I was betting I'd probably only say a draw.

    1-1 Carroll & Benteke

Probably should have been a free for Moreno but all of that rolling around deserved a goal against.

    Great ball in.

Liverpool probably should have had a free there further up the pitch. Having said that.. what a quality cross.. pin point accurate and great header..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,976 ✭✭✭doc_17

That was a free kick to Liverpool in the build up. Can was booked for a similar tackle on Wednesday night.

Absolutely nothing wrong with him. Delighted to see the goal come from straight down his channel. Anything that discourages that type of carry on.

commits foul, not given, runs on to score.. well done ref

That was a clear foul on Moreno from Antonio.

Why we don't try to stop crosses into the box is beyond me.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭Adamocovic

Noble looks fired up and in good form. Workhorse

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,105 ✭✭✭mada999

It seems if Liverpool players try and go in hard we get fouls against us.... and when other teams go in hard against us they get away with it ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,388 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

Definete free. Can got a yellow on Thursday night for a tackle like that.

Saying that great cross and header.

Ah here! Conspiracy theories this early into a thread? :P

The only thing worse than what I'm seeing on the pitch is what's on the bench. Can't see us coming back from even 1-0 down today.

this is going to be the same score as the away fixture :(
West Ham working more and getting more crosses in... Liverpool please get some crosses in

Great strike from Lanzini. Unlucky. Liverpool second best so far.

Yeah but to suggest refereeing inconsistencies only apply to your own club is ridiculous. There's not some conspiracy out against Liverpool. To say refs treat tackles by Liverpool players differently to tackles on Liverpool players is daft.
