Goodmans GCDR 1950R not reading discs

    Basically when ever I try to play a CD, it comes up NO, and doesnt play
    Any reasons this might happen?!?!

    Best bet is laser needs cleaning or replacing

    The disc doesn't spin, is that connected to the laser?

    Ya it'll be the disc unit in the center. Laser wont read the disc
