Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Photo is not clear enough to see it properly.

It doesn't look the correct colour to be a tick but that could be the lighting.

Look closely at it with a torch and if you can see legs/black head at the skin.....it's a tick.

To me this looks like the mark the the tick left behind, plus the dog has licked it and it's now half raw/infected.
But as said before, the picture is not very clear.

Would ticks be still prevalent during the winter months? Although in saying that, it's been an unusually mild winter so far.

Yes they would... Well to answer your question with an example my sisters dog and her kid recently had the joys of inheriting one or two :o
