Correct notice period

My SIL lives in Oz and we've been looking after her house (it's rented to tenants 2 1/2 years now, initial 1 year lease) she's coming home in May so need to give them notice to quit. From my reading this morning as they are part 4 tenants I think it's 56 days notice, with details of what family member etc needs house (it's her house). Can anyone advise if this is enough tenant is a nightmare to deal with at the best of times so want to be sure we do it correctly. Thanks

You're correct, it's 56 days notice, in writing, citing a family member moving in as reason for termination. this is all assuming the tenant isn't on a fixed term lease since the initial one year lease.

I think it shouldn't matter as its needed for family, who happens to be the landlord, but they've only dealt with us. Either way its 56 days I'm hoping!
