Barrel Change & Licence

    When changing a barrel on a rifle does it require you to state it on your licence (probably) and if so is there much hassle to get the licence corrected. Looking a new barrel but not to set on it.

    On a another note what is the supposed wait time for a gun licence to come through as my father has waited over 6 months on two occasions for a license to come through.

    You can have multiple barrels, on the same license, so long as they of the same caliber. No need to change or amend your license (for the same caliber)

    The legal time frame is 3 months. However the real times have ranged from 5 days to over a year depending on type of license and where you are (locality/county)
