    am wondering will Katherines dress manage to stay up till the end of the show....she is almost out of the top of it...keeping me far more interested that the judges comments anyway.

    Sad indictment of the show when over 50% of the last 30 or so posts are either about dresses, hair, baldness or the fact that posters had legged it over to The UK Voice.

    I'm disappointed with the choices some of the judges made. Laura seems like a nice girl, but based on performance, she did not deserve to go through. Personally, I believe Nik, the rocker should've gone through. He vocally surpassed the three, but as someone wrote on Facebook, he's not young and he probably wouldn't appeal to the Voice's target audience, which is ridiculous, but what else can anyone expect from these farcical talent shows? I think Una chose Emmie because she's a drag queen. I might sound controversial when I write that, but think about it. Would the X factor have honed in on Séan Miley Moore had he dressed like a man? Emmie sang very flatly and her cover could have been vocally stronger. It's a shame Una and the producers don't realize the potential in Eimear's voice. She sounds vocally similar to Kate Bush. I was impressed by her audition. I thought it was great that there was someone on the Voice with a wide range and light head voice, because you don't see many contestants like that on the Voice of Ireland. Eimear's voice would have been more interesting to work with than Emmie's. I would've liked to have seen her cover Kate Bush's "This woman's work." I think she could've nailed that. I don't think she would've won the competition as she would probably have to face the likes of Ciáran and Kelsey, but she definitely deserved a place in the quarter final.

    Gawd the first guy, Johnny, was terrible: his diction and pronunciation are really poor and he wasn't able to sing fast enough to keep up with the track. Singing while dancing was clearly too much for him. Not very impressive.
