Feisty is one way to describe her attitude

  • Registered Users Posts: 51,840 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

this one is either great craic or a tad full of herself!

    Or compensating for her nervousness.

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,261 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

So only Bressie and Kian have spaces left

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,179 ✭✭✭dee_mc

Oh she comes across as really rude! There's feisty and then there's just needlessly argumentative and full of it...
    Very, very talented girl though!

Why choose a song like that? Anyone could give that a shot..oh dear lord Bressie just turned!!!

Not the strongest show tonight but a few decent singers alright! The guy who sang Thin Lizzy was the stand out for me! So who are your favourites folks??

    Or compensating for her nervousness.

easy to confuse but she went overboard and i'm not too sure. Doesnt make a difference either way as she wont go far.

The lad with beard with the girlfriend he has never met was good.
Trump isn't fooling anyone with that thing on his head.

Only getting to catch up on this now. Not mad impressed with many of them. Liked the first guy Sean and Alex best.

Edit: Saw more and yer wee doll Eimear from over the road in Armagh is a fine wee singer.

Enjoyed the blind auditions as a whole.

Hate the whole battles thing but will still give it a go. Such a stupid idea.

Exactly, in 1 round it goes from around 48 down to 24 singers, and from then on it seems a painfully slow elimination process. All the while exposing the limitations of the singers that remain in the competition.

(The U.K. voice starts later than the Irish version, yet finishes sooner, and has immeasurably more talent on offer. Talk about RTÉ milking a dry cow!!!)

Oh my god make it stop!!!!!

The two singing The Writing's On The Wall.

    Horrid...fúcking horrid

    Evening!
He is so much better than her but the song would suit him better anyway..

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,799 ✭✭✭CFlat

Harmonies were perfect. Thought he had an edge on her. Maybe a bit too low for her register.

    Very good!

How many steals do they have?

He's go to be worth a steal, he's very good singer and performer.

    Ah well.

I just happened to be looking at this (not a fan of the show), but the fella was streets ahead of that Emy guy. If he wasn't acting over the top with his looks & singing, he wouldn't have gotten picked. Stupid.

    I think it's two each.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,686 ✭✭✭Pretzill

I thought Emy was flat in a lot of that thought the other guy was better if a bit boybandy -

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,719 ✭✭✭jluv

    He is good..

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,799 ✭✭✭CFlat

Guns and Roses? Sounded more like REM.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,298 ✭✭✭DareGod

Dear god, why are the voices in these Irish competitions always awful? Screechy, shouty, pitchy, very limited ranges.

Have we no great singers in the country, no?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,686 ✭✭✭Pretzill

    That's terrible - screechy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,943 ✭✭✭✭anewme

That was absolutely awful. As in strangling a cat. Very out of tune!
