Another moving back to Ireland thread

So after a lot of discussion, some fights and even some tears it looks like we may be moving back to Dublin in mid-year. I know a lot of others are in the same boat and just wanted to see if anyone had any advice, particularly anyone who has recently made the move. Job is secure so that is ok, pay is much reduced to here…

Job is secure so that is ok, pay is much reduced to here though and this worries me.

Getting a school place seems impossible with the long waiting lists and not having an Irish address right now. How do we resolve this?

The other major concern is renting/buying. So few properties on the market and all so expensive!

Anyone done the move recently or in the process have any tips? Please!
