I was wondering if a person was looking to take up employment in bray but wanted to live in Dublin to take advantage of the social scene , where would be the best place to live?

    Budget? Number of bedrooms needed?

Southside on the dart line is your best bet. My friend lives in Sandymount and does it.

One would take up residence upon the route of the DART line.

Honestly I would live in Bray. When you want to go out in Dublin take the DART to town and nightbus it home

If you live closer to the city you will have to pay for taxis home ( Dublin Bus nightbuses dont stop in the inner suburbs), plus have to pay for the DART/Bus to work. Dublin midweek is full of young students. Im personally not mad about going out midweek in Dublin

Bray (or part thereof) is in Dublin...

I'm pretty sure it's not classified as Dublin, although some of the northern suburbs are straddling the border, And in the context of this post I'm sure the opinion is looking more Dublin City than county.

The 84N nitelink also goes through Bray.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

No. Parts of Bray are actually co Dublin and vote in Dun Laoghaire.

As per above either along the DART line or, probably more affordable, somewhere along the 145 bus route (which operates along the N11).
