Never had a problem getting any super weekend stuff in my local, and go in at various times each week

Customers buying them in vast numbers or a vast number of customers buying them.

Yep, we only last week ran out of the half price nappies we bought.

The way its going, they will have to do a ticket system and leave the stock in the store like they do with some warehouse sales

Certain items like tea bags, sugar, goujans etc sold out before 9 on a Saturday smacks or commercial buying to use that day in cafe etc

    Stock levels are a joke.

Surely the idea is to supply the demand, not get a small amount in and annoy people

Herself just rang from lidl, Goujons gone.

This will put people off and then drive them to buy elsewhere

No its the opposite you put up these offers and they dont give a fcuk if they cant meet demand once you get people in the door-that is the concept here-and you say they go elsewhere sure itll be the same there

I hate when people call it ham when it's clearly bacon they were selling - nothing to do with being in America :

Both are from a pig of course but...

"Bacon is meat taken from the back, loin or belly of the pig. Bacon is either dry cured in cold air or by smoking or packed with large amounts of salt, or wet cured when it is immersed in liquid brine.

Ham is meat cut from the thigh or rump of the pig. Ham can be cooked and served fresh or wet or dry cured usually with less salt and more sugar."
