There seems to be a meal deal on at the moment but I can't see what it is because the page won't display properly for me. It involves a free rose.

It's a main course, dessert and a starter and a free rose for €10
Hmm... possibly 2 starters, one of which can be soup.

In the main courses, there was a pork fillet, duck breast fillets or stuffed chicken breast, if I recall correctly...

I got the discount despite not knowing anything about the deal.
I had two of the €4 fillet steaks, a gratin potato, carrots, broccoli and the four mini desserts plus a rose in the basket. €3.80 off was a nice surprise, I wonder if it was a mistake.

    Probably already sold out :pac::pac::pac:

That fish isn't great, we usually do it in the oven and nothing to write home about.

Going to see Aldi Smoked Coley on the super six to see the sizes

You'd need it after eating the kilo of jellies.

    Anybody have issues today?
I got coke and cat food at nearly five o clock with no issues!

Got 10* cat food and 2 Coke no problems at 4.30 - I didn't want anymore Coke loads available

I went shopping around 1pm and I got the Cokes and cod fillets alright. There was plenty of Coke and Diet Coke still there at that time. Didn't see any of the pork stir fry, though admittedly I wasn't looking too hard for it. The cat foods were there too.

Haven't they just had nappies recently? It's getting very repetitive

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,670 ✭✭✭jay0109

They had nappies about 4 weeks ago (I stocked up!). But for this moment in time, I'm always happy to see nappies back on at half price.

With 2 young kids. I'm delighted with nappies :p!
Stacked up last time and about to run out!
Wouldn't mind wipes back on special!

It's only 1 item out of the 4 though. Well unless all parents give their kids a chicken goujon after chsnging their nappy and follow it up with cake for dessert and hand them a few juice drinks to speed up the usage of the nappies. :)

Toilet rolls pop up a lot too. Way too repetitive for those of us with a bidet. :pac:

More than likely they have a restaurant. Common enough sight in Carlow to see the local pubs/restaurants stocking up in aldi or lidl

Guy in front of me had to put back 2, checkout were enforcing the limit of 10.
They are strict enough in my local, although have seen another guy let just split a transaction 'for the person in my car'.

my one is strict on 10 per person but people just fill up their trolley and then get family members to each go through with the limit. You can see trolley full of stuff waiting for other people to go. Woman with 2 kids can get 30 packs of bog roll. No idea what they are doing with that many.

So far noticed the popular items are toilet roll, rice and vegetable oil
