It won't go online until the offers for this weekend 6th/7th are over. However it is in the leaflet and this is available online.

With the new Minimum Alcohol pricing bill going through the Dail right now this might be one of the last times we see a bottle of wine costing less than 9 euro, these offers will become illegal once the bill is passed. I used to use these wine offers to pick up a bottle for cooking recipies, now the nanny staters are whacking the price up to around a tenner a bottle those days will be over

Where are you seeing that list of offers? It's totally different to what's on the LIDL site which has no wine and has crisps, jasmine rice, vienetta and carrot cake:

Is it actually going through? the pricing bit? I thought maybe only most of the other stuff in the bill was going through.

The proposed law specifically says "meal deal" type offers are still allowed. So if it does go through expect to get a nice steak with your wine. This is why it is very unfair on offies.

I hope so, I need more time to get through the last case of half price red wine I picked before I'm ready for Chianti! And I won't be just using it in the cooking pot...

I don't think so, instead they have a Valentine's special with meal, side, dessert, prosecco and chocs for €15.

I wouldn't be too worried as it's unlikely the bill will go through in our lifetime!
