What a waste by the Chiefs.

Amendola very lucky that stupid penalty didn't cost more

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

Amendola getting congratulated for a dirty hit... yeah well played dude... :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Virtually no punishment at all for that hit by Amendola. Not sure what they could do but I think the NFL could do with looking at that rule to make sure that the offender's team actually get punished and seeing if they could come up with anything.

Has Mike Carey actually got a call right all season? A horrendous analyst.

I hate the half the distance to the goal. It should be a 15 yard penalty. If that forces you to the end zone then it's a safety. That'd be real punishment

    Thats a TD I think.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,029 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Just look at that legend on the sidelines. Four Superbiwl rings, 38 years old and multiple records and the is Tom Brady all fired up like nobody else.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭KaiserGunner

It was very close call IMO. Has to be clear evidence to overturn the verdict called on the field. So not surprised it wasn't overturned. TD next play anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Chiefs pass rush has been non-existent all night. The Patriots have literally ran the ball twice all game and yet they haven't been able to get near Brady.

At 14-3 I can't see how that Chiefs O can come back from 11 points down.

Just put the Patriots in the Super Bowl and be done with it.

Think that should have been given as a TD initially.

TD now anyway. What a drive from the 2 yard line

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,029 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

How that call wasn't overturned I font know but they weren't taking that td away from Brady. GO PATRIOTS!!!

    Obligatory Brady rushing TD.

What is it about this forum and the declarations that a game is over. Last week a team was a point down and were written off with eight minutes left ("I don't see how they can recover from this") and today a team is two scores down in the first half and the same thing.

How many years have we been watching comebacks and upsets? When does it stop shocking people? A comeback by the chiefs shouldn't surprise anyone.

Long way to go in this one never mind the trip to Mile High that awaits the winner!

This game is far from over

Lovely play by kelce, chiefs get a touchdown here and it's game on

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

That was a huge 3rd down conversion by Kansas. They are in superb position now to get a TD.

Would have been nice to get the stop there and possibly go and get more points on the board

Funny the way you say there is a long way to go in this one but have already decided who is winning tomorrow.

Pathetic clock management by the Chiefs to force the spike there.

Funny, but a pretty good guess I would imagine. Odds very much against Steelers given the injuries.

It just seems to be a rule for Andy Reid.

Clock management has always been awful.

I would agree probably wont be easy for the Broncos but no Beown and a banged up Big Ben its hard to see a Steelers win. They need Bryant and Wheaton to play out of their skins.

Yes, big turnover there. Get down the field now and make this a two score game. Go Patiots!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Chiefs have been inside the Patriots 42 5 times and only have 6 points to show for it. Really poor return.

I really am going to cry the day TB retires.

Ok NOW it's hard to see the chiefs making a game of it.

Great drive there, Gronk and Brady are a match made in heaven

    Game over? :pac:

That turnover is sickening blowing for the Chiefs

Oooh my god that was fantastic, very reminiscent of Wilson last week

    Brilliant catch

    Game on!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,029 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Gotta give it up to Alex Smith for keeping that drive alive when he avoided the sack earlier. Wilson is a very good player, surprised we've only got to see him in the second half.

We need to get another TD I think. Go Patriots!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

You just know the Chiefs need a turnover to win this game and the way Brady is throwing I can't see it coming bar a fumble.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,029 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

How were there no call there with Edelman clearly being held pushed?

Still we have a two td lead so it's not all bad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    Catch and fumble no?

Lost like 40 yards on Harmon intercepting that

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

That can't be an interception, well hopefully

What a load of **** this is. Hopefully the next game is much better.

Yeah it feels weird hoping an int by your team is ruled not to be one.

Yeah, I'm sure all Patriots fans are loving it and rightly so. :)

It's been all but over very early on for me. Chiefs pass rush can do nothing despite the Patriots only running the ball a handful of times and their O is just not equipped to chase games.

It's 1° in Foxborough, why isn't Belichick wearing a jacket?

Unbelievably poor clock management from the Chiefs there. Almost a full minute wasted.
