Little too cautious there from the Vikings once they had goal to go IMO. They've had the ball for virtually all of the 1st quarter and are only 3-0 up. Big let off for Seattle.

    Bennett is wrecking havoc.

id have done similar having the ball for the full q just means the d gets more tired and 3 points is significant on a day like today

No chance did Wilson get that timeout called on time.

Officials have seemed very light on calling those time expiring penalties this year. They seem to let it go a bit.

Bollocks. Thought these games were starting later like yesterday. Missed the first quarter and still have a stupid job application to get finished.

I think the Vikings might win this. Seattle without Lynch in this weather and the Vikings with Peterson could be enough to tip it. Bridgewater looks in reasonable control too.

That snapper isn't helping Ryan out.

Peterson not getting much joy yet, dink and dunk looking more productive.

Fantastic play from Earl Thomas. His closing speed is crazy.

Roethlisberger has a separated shoulder and will undergo an MRI today, per USA Today.

Denver v New England in the AFC game then.

Fake punt from your own 30...

Going for it on 4th and 13 while in easy field goal range....?

    Eh.. Pete, you feeling ok?

47 yards in that cold is not easy range

The ball isn't travelling in the cold, they must have believed Haushka hasn't got the legs.

Totally agree, I love these tight games where one great play or bad error could make all the difference

Gotta love seeing draft picks making an impact in their rookie year!

No one handed grab this time. Big INT. if Minnesota get a TD, there defence could hold Seattle.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,319 ✭✭✭Al_Coholic

Big turnover there,Seahawks look rattled in offense

Stupid penalty. Minnesota should get some points now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Those type of roughing the passer flags bug me. Yes he was late but he didn't hit him he pushed him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Can't help but feel the Vikings will regret not putting more than 3 on the board there. What a huge opportunity it was.

So what bugs you are the rules then? Clear penalty.

Ball is long gone no reason to push him

    Minnesota defence is on fire

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,864 ✭✭✭empacher

vikings really need a td, being up two scores going into the 4th will force the seahawks to make mistakes.

Yeah it's a penalty and while I think you need to protect the QB, I just think some of the flags are thrown for things that could be left go.

Diggs is playing well v Sherman, hard to believe hes only a rookie

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Throw the ball away Teddy for Christ sake.

he had Diggs open on a stop route against Sherman, big first down if he makes it.

    Walsh MVP so far!

Seattle need to get something going on this drive. Looking flat so far
