On Matt Cooper's Last Word show the other day, some guest mentioned an app for parents to control their kids access/use of the house wi-fi, can boot them off remotely etc.

Anyone catch the name of it?

You don need an app, just get the MAC address and user MAC filtering , use on my brother's iPhone once when he pissed me off

That looks s bit finicky though (plus I'm a Luddite)
I need something if the kids are on the wifi when they should be asleep doing homework, I can just bout them off.

This is a gift and I love using it too piss people off that abuse the house rules..

I don't think that there is any way of doing it except through your wifi router.
you'll need to log into it from your pc.
many routers allow you to set access times (time of the day etc) for devices by the MAC address.
