atm fees whilst travelling

    does anybody know if theres a way of avoiding them or other ways of carrying your money?

    It depends where you're going, in some countries you can't avoid them unfortunately (Thailand being one)

    Sticking to the main banks, and maybe trying out several different bank atm's is your best bet. If travelling outside the eurozone then get yourself a Revolut card (big thread over in BA about it). This won't help you avoid atm fee's, but it will help you avoid bank charges from back home :)
