    Mayo County Council are once again this year providing free Christmas tree recycling in Mayo. Please ensure all decorations are removed from Christmas trees prior to recycling.

    Any person who wishes to avail of this free service is invited to deposit their used Christmas tree at any of the following locations before Saturday 16th January, 2016.

    Achill: Beside the Bottle Banks at Keel.
    Ballina: Reception area at Rathroeen, Landfill Site, Killala Road. (Call 096 75959 for opening times)
    Ballinrobe: Mayo County Council Area office, Kilmaine Road.
    Ballyhaunis: Beside Bottle Banks in the Car Park, Ballyhaunis.
    Belmullet: Civic Office Car-Park, Church Road, Belmullet.
    Castlebar: Machinery Yard at Moneen Depot – Use Rear Entrance.
    Claremorris: Car park at Area Office, Kilcolman Road, Claremorris.
    Louisburgh Car Park, Chapel Street, Louisburgh.
    Newport: Recycling Centre at Derrinumera Landfill Site. (Contact 098 41632 for opening times)
    Swinford: Mayo County Council Pound, Kilkelly Road, Swinford.
    Westport: Council Depot, Ballinrobe Road, Westport. (8:00am – 4:30pm)
