Returning with school age children

Had a look through the forum. Most people seem worried about shipping and jobs. My biggest worry is getting our two children into the vastly oversubscribed Dublin 15 school system. Anyone else in this boat? How do we even get a place without an Irish address?

I have no idea. Will you be home at all before you move? Worth visiting schools, calling principles. Do your kids have cousins in schools?
