I think they did a really clever job on the backing track. They basically Nicky Byrne proofed the song, by laying down layers and layers of in tune vocals on the track. And it did sound good. Then all Nicky has to do is smile.

Didn't get a Fleur vibe from Belgium, unless using an upbeat sax arrangement is patented now. Very good voice and performance has to be said, effortless even.

Belarus was just bloody bizarre but entertainingly bad.

Macedonia deserve their due for sheer vocal, Poland and Australia as well. Albania too. All 4 should go through.

Bulgaria just a load of hot noise but will go through.
