Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

See Senator Norris in the crowd, draped in an Union Jack, he got over Nicky not qualifying quickly.

Did Turkey ever take part in Eurovision? If so why are they gone? Or were they there and I missed them?
And won it. Did a souped up Riverdance take off for the interval. Fires of Anatolia. No Riverdance but not terrible.

    Yes.

He's mentioned it 3 times in the last minute. "Remember you're not voting for Ireland 'cos we're not in it. hashtag sadface".

(OK, I added the hashtag part, but that's very much the vibe)

    Jesus wept...get over it, Marty.

Weak vocals, weak song, RTE nepotism. End of.

the visual effects in the majority of songs is staggeringly bad. have they never heard of less is more?

What are you on about? The visuals are what has made it worth watching. Last years were more impressive though.

My favourites were Italy, Bulgaria and Austria.

Who I think will be top 3 however is completely different. Have money on Australia to win when they were 16/1 and Armenia to come top 4 :P so I'm hoping and thinking it will be Australia, Russia and Armenia. Plz God anyways.

Hosting it twice in three years... I suppose it's better able to stump up the money than Ireland is. :o:D;)

Not watching RTE...is Marty really still going on about Nicky?

Every year is the same. He probably thinks Donna and Joe were hard done by in the votes

New voting system is unfamiliar and scary. Also, I am pretty sure there are wolves chasing me.
Did the guy with the wolves not qualify or maybe I missed them ??

Voted for the UK. I thought they did really really well. Also liked Belgium, Spain and the two bands. Can't remember what countries they were representing.

4 or 5 songs there I'd say could be worthy winners but none of them particularly memorable.

    One vote for Armenia.

I'll be waving tiny flags for Malta and Georgia, but think France or Oz might get it.

I'll be disappointed if Russia win, it's the Eurosong Contest not EuroStaging contest.

But I'm sure I'd get over it very quickly. :pac:
