Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Poland with 7 jury poinits are going to get a massive public vote.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,009 ✭✭✭✭wnolan1992

So essentially this format is "We need to hide the Bloc Voting Because People Were Getting Pissed".

It's so stupid. It removes most of the tension because you know all the countries who haven't got votes already got more votes than the ones that already have been announced, so it's fairly easy maths....

Polish diaspora doing it for the motherland.

The public vote means a lot more. Like how many people are on each jury, compared to how many people from each country are voting?

Nah I'm sure it's all worked out regardless of population otherwise the biggest countries would just win all the time.

There hasn't been tension in the Eurovision in years. Normally you know who wins halfways through.

42 juries gave Poland 7 points

    the public gave then 222

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

My dad stuck an each-way bet on Poland at 100/1. Think he needed them to be at least sixth.
