Given the hideous state of the "pitch" it wasn't a bad game, Liverpool a bit guilty of playing football at times rather than being direct but they are taught like that at the Academy of course.

Bogdan. Ugh. And to think some called for him to be number 1.

Ryan Kent. No doubt talented, but not as good as he thinks he is. He's clearly trying to prove a point, but is taking too much out of the ball, and has Coutinhitis with the shooting.

Impressed with Smith, and Texeira when he's on the ball.

Benteke is pointless when we won't give him any balls to attack in the air. It's mind boggling. Even on free kicks out wide, against a League 2 defence, we're hesitant to put a balk in the air for him to attack. I actually feel for him.

Ilori looks off the pace; a phrase which would be being kind to Enrique.

Exeter aren't even pressing that hard. We can get into wide areas due to their packed midfield, but bar Smith, we're hesitant to cross to our fúcking powerhouse of a striker.

Get it together.

He had plenty of time to get in position to get a fist to that cross, I do feel sorry for him though, he's a pity.

Exactly. A mistake. Strikers miss one on one's and open goals all the time.

Not showing for the ball. I think he won one header & 0 shots. No movement at all just standing in the box behind the CB when Kent got in behind. As the captain & senior player u need alot more.

He's a CF who needs the ball delivered to him and he hasn't had that.

He's not a Suarez type player who will take a game by the scruff of the neck and drastically change it.

Very tough first game for Ilori to come into having not played a competitive match since the summer, would much rather he had an experienced CB beside him. Instead he has Enrique :-/

I thought Ilori did ok. Good in the air, couple of important interceptions. Couple of ropey moments too but he has played no football this season
