Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bogdan can fook off. Another transfer market master stroke.

    That's a classic :)

Did Enrique nip to the dry cleaners in the last 5 minutes or has he been sitting at the corner flag playing Fifa all night. Not a speck of dirt on his Jersey :D

Ojo looks like he could play first team

The game changed when he come on

That would have been a penalty outside the box.

    Penalty outside box :pac:

Third teamers are near the first team for the near future...

My point is a replay wouldn't be the worst result given the situation with the team we've had to field. Buys some time and at worst we can field the same lads in the replay which will have little bearing on our other games. It's not that difficult to understand and surprised I have to spell it out at all.

I'm trying to remember a time when Lallana changed a game for Liverpool?

If he mentions Lalanna one more fcuking time..

If we had not lost our heads for about 30 minutes, I think we would have won this. At least it's encouraging that we had the gumption to calm things down and get the ball on the ground.

Think it was just cramp and he expected to be back

What game are some people watching?

Benteke good in the 2nd half?

Chivelera the best of the young midfielders?

Gumption. Triple word score. Well played.

Benteke looks like he's an 80 year old man.

The second half of the second half they were both good - no so much so before that.

Ojo has pace which we badly need

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Why not swing in those corners on top of Bogdan?

Danny Murphy reduces my enjoyment of football. He sounds like a cynical 70 year old rather than 38

    Benteke has improved.

Tex and Kent have been the stand outs of the young players.

Texeiras faded badly 2nd half...and not because Chiravella's taken over

Klopp really sticking it to the fixture congestion by forcing a replay.

Fair play to Exeter, deserved their draw.

Well done to Exeter very unlucky not to win that game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

Jesus, why didn't they just hoof it into the box there to Benteke ffs.

    Fair result.

Gamble didn't pay off for Klopp

Looks like we've gone away from there without injuries which makes a change.

"Against a Liverpool side 76 places above them in the league ladder"

Someone tell Gary that we had our kids and rejects out tonight

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,629 ✭✭✭googled eyes

I'd let a few of the young lads play the replay

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Well if Klopp hadn't already made up his mind on Benteke, he will now. £32.5 million for a striker who offer less threat than a wet tissue, no way he'll be at Anfield next season. I'd take Voronin over him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Decent showing from Ojo, might have played himself into a matchday squad over the next few weeks.
    Cirivella was awful.

Does the reserves count as being above league 2 or below

At least Benteke got a taste for the level he gona be playing in a couple of years

I don't believe it should be called a gamble when you've very little other options

No choice we have too many games

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,036 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Grand, happy with that, worst case scenario we can always play a similar team in the replay anyway, with the addition of a CB at CB, and Enrique at home.

We could do with a backup RB this window though, really don't fancy Randall.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,796 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

People are being overly harsh. Half these lads have barely kicked a ball at competitive level, so it was always going to be a bit of a baptism of fire. I think if we bring Exeter back to Anfield, play a similar enough team on a proper pitch - we win.

I seriously question the word gamble there tbh.

Utd and arsenal over the next 7 days.

He's really couldn't risk first teasers, I can't even belief he risked Benteke.
