Car insurance for 20 year old full licensed driver

Hi, I'm looking to get insured on a car but I'm not sure which type of car would suit, my dad has agreed to buy a car and I can use it when he is not which means I will be a named driver. I'm 20, have a full license, never been insured before. Can someone help please???
