Just wondering if a couple agree to live together along with their children although separated what is fair payment for household to be divided .
    Fact's
Outgoing's Total each month 2000 (all children in Secondary School)
    Both working
    Parent A takes home 3,200
    Parent B takes home 1,600

Not included in outgoings is Uniforms , Books & Clothing,
Children's Allowance of 5,000 will cover these .

What would peoples opinion's be how the 2,000 is split .

As parent A is earning twice net of parent b, I'd suggest 66/34

So parent A would contribute 1320 and parent B would contribute 680

66/34 seem legit however you must also take into consideration what each parent's outgoings are.

For example, if parent B contributes 680 from 1600, that leaves only 920. Is that enough for parent B to cover all their basic requirements?

Parent B might pay twice as much for travel. Parent A might run a car for the benefit of the entire family or the kids etc.

You only have part of the picture here...
