Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone think having an article on the Liverpool website that Suarez is at Melwood is a bit much. Incredible player but maybe we should move on. He is gone nearly 2 years now.

Ah tbf, any time that Rush, Aldridge, Dalglish or anyone else pops in, there's usually a picture story or a video.

"LFC LEGEND MEETS KLOPP FOR THE FIRST TIME", "KOLO SAYS WHICH LEGENDS INSPIRED HIS PALACE PERFORMANCE", etc. The usual nonsense. And it's not like it has anything in it other than "former player pops in".

There's no harm in it. Shows that not everyone who leaves does so on a sour note, hopefully encourages fans not to boo every former f*cking player too.

I'm looking forward to El Hadji Diouf turning up one day!

Meanwhile here's the best of last nights 3-2 win for the U21s Ojo hat trick

Good to see Suarez come back for a visit, and show that not all transfers are acrimonious as happened with Mascherano, Torres and Sterling.

I like that a great player like that likes to drop back in and say hello. Nothing wrong with it.

Putting an article and a few pictures of him on the website for a few days doesn't mean the club hasn't moved on. It has but he's one of the top players in the world, the best player we've had in the last decade at least and websites need content!!!

Are the 28 injury-time winners listed anywhere? Would be interested to look at the list.

Ones I thought of straight away:

v Newcastle in 1996, obviously, 20 years ago next month eek.png
v Portsmouth when Torres scored the winner
    v Norwich this season
v QPR last year - ridiculous match
v Fulham twice - Yossi and Gerrard peno

Then Ludogorets in the CL and West Ham in the Cup final

What other injury time winners do you remember?

Got the full list of PL injury-time winners (which as a reminder we now have the record for after Sunday), if I throw in the years, scores and scorers it might jog some memories, we've gotten most of the recent ones

Number 3 and 9 are Everton (can't believe we forgot the Gary Mac thunderbolt), well I assume 3 is anyhow as I think they had a Barlow playign for them then.
Number 7 has to be the other Newcastle 4-3 game.

Suarez is doing this on purpose now - getting everyone's hopes up.
Luis Suarez has explained why he decided to drop in at Melwood on Tuesday morning to catch up with some of his former teammates, admitting: ‘Liverpool are so important to me.’

The Barcelona forward took advantage of some time off from his schedule to visit the club’s training complex and see some familiar faces from the past.

Suarez was accompanied by his two young children and took the opportunity to watch the Reds’ training session from the canteen balcony.

Before he left Melwood, he told Liverpoolfc.com: “It was fantastic to see the lads. The people that work here are really nice and I miss them, so I wanted to come and see some friends. I have really good friends here.

“I had a really good moment here in three and a half years and when you have a really good moment in your life, it is something you remember.

“I always try to watch the [Liverpool] games and look out for the results. I am very interested in how Liverpool are doing because they are so important in my life.”

Jaysis, that takes me back, I haven't had a prick-teasing like that since a house party in Limerick in '97 (ragweek, I think, can't think of anything else that would have brought over there).

Van Gaal has won 4 out of 4 against us since joining United. A bizarre stat in a way given how mediocre they've been against virtually everyone else. Not sure is it a good or a bad thing before Thursday. You would hope that we are due a break against them.

I think that's fairly harsh, from what I remember of the last encounter, we were all over them and if we had a half decent striker or been clinical in attack. We would've won by 2 or 3 goals.

I'm showing my age filling in the blanks. Some of those games are stuck in my memory because of bizarre circumstances. #2 & #3 are guesses but I'm pretty certain of the rest.

#1 A relegation battle 6 pointer. Rosenthal came on as a late sub for McManaman and scored the winner.
#2 West Ham scored in the first minute, Fowler equalised 10 minutes later and Rush scored the winner very late on if it's the right game.
#3 Graeme Barlow played for Oldham
#5 Everyone thought Redknapp had given Man Utd the title.
#7 It was the repeat of the previous season.
#8 A mad game. It all kicked off in the last minute, Paul Ince tackled a supporter to stop them from attacking the referee.
#9 It was part of the incredible run at the end of the season.
#13 Wolves were whipping boys of the league and of course we conspired to make them look incredible defensively until Hyypia scored from a Gerrard corner.
#16 Dirk Kuyt scored 2 penalties, Everton had 2 players sent off and their fans were raging that Kuyt stayed on the pitch.
#24 Liverpool were 2-0 up after about 15 minutes, the keeper was sent off so Brad Jones came on, Carroll stole the points at the end.

Nice work getting them all. I probably remember just over half of them personally. I was at number 6 which remains the best game I've ever seen live. Nothing beats a game like that at Anfield with an injury time winner after a good open game.

Interesting that the first 15 on the list were nearly all home games, and after that only 2 of the rest were at Anfield - we've been doing the smash and grab thing away from home for a while now!
