Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Jordan Rhodes going for 9 million sterling
Andros Townsend supposedly went for 12 million sterling
    Shelvey went for 12 million.
Basel turned down 27 million euro for Embolo from Wolfsberg

Then when you look at both United and City paying around 50 million for young talented players, it puts Shakhtars valuation of Teixeira into perspective. Hopefully the clubs reach an agreement because we need players for now rather than taking chances with prospects for the future, which mean we are going to have to pay high transfer fees.

We have 4 strikers as well. Do we need any of those?

What we don't have is goals.

Get goal scorers, shuffle the pack, and bin whoever falls out the bottom.

Also, we can move the likes of Lallana and Coutinho back into midfield.

We need people who can actively contribute in a positive manner towards putting the round ball thingy into the net between the two white post thingys.

We currently have one fit player who seems to know that this is the game to be played; Firmino.

I'm all for getting more players who like the idea of kicking the ball thingy in the net thingy. Preferably quick and agile players. Also, not being prone to injuries is to be viewed as a plus.

I would also like a player who is capable at keeping the ball thingy out of the net thingy, without giving palpitations to his entire defence, and everyone else watching.

I've just had a eureka moment.

Daniel Sturridge is schizophrenic and his alter ego is OwaynOTT.

What if he was way better than any AM that we have?

Well, I do like Missy Elliott and I'm injury prone. Also I earn 150,000 week.

I thought this was a good clip on the sanguinity required for maintaining the number of goals in your attack.

You won't get everything right. You just need to keep blasting away with attacking players, even when your attack is fine.

It's the most important thing in football. You cannot afford to let your only attacker go, nor can you afford to put all your eggs in one basket, like we did with Torres and Sturridge since Suarez left.

It's maddening that you see this same problem occur in every walk of life - people trying to fix irrelevant **** that barely has any impact when the lynchpin of success - goalscorers in footballing terms - is missing.

Look at Leiscester - they're banging goals in so who's their target? Loic Remy. ****ing geniuses. They get it.

Just thought I'd remind the thread! :D

Seems to be very little interest as compared to transfer nonsense

Ojo hattrick, Kent to score a brace and Caulker to win the game 6-5 (go on you know you'd love that!)

And we all take the piss out of Mr. Glass, and rightfully so, but I don't think we get past Southampton without him that night. We were going nowhere before he turned the game on its head.

Its a pity he can't even remotely be relied upon, as when fit, he's comfortably our best player.

At this stage, it's looking like next milennium:(

    This year or next?

Sturridge is the perfect match with Liverpool and fits in with the culture perfectly.

Fan's motto is next year and Sturridge's motto is next month.

    Rumour away and 3rd kits

Away is lovely. I think most will think the 3rd kit is a bit naff, but I quite like bright colours.

    That 3rd kit is hideous.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,953 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

They 'leak' the kits every year and they're almost never right. As long as the home kit is red I don't care.

They are actually usually right, although they look a bit different due to illustration vs real life. This years home kit for instance looked awful in the leaks, but it was the same jersey that just looked better in real life when it was released.

That 3rd jersey would be grand as a goalie shirt.

Otherwise, I'll be getting it in 2 years' time for €8.68 off Mike Ashley as a pajammy top.

Ryan Fulton having a fine game for Portsmouth against Bournemouth

A step down from this seasons but still a nice jersey, although it's hard to go wrong with black.

Like Sturridge, you gotta have faith...

Also, I'm not working so... we're doomed

I'd have preffered a weakened team against Leicester rather than today. Top 4 is gone.

West ham whooed us with our first team so it s a welcome change for me, Klopp rotating is breath of fresh air tbh.

The last 2 years there's been leaks in Jan/Feb/Mar and they've all been correct.

5 Mar 2014 - we knew all of the new kits for 14/15

14 Jan 2015 - we knew the home jersey for 15/16

I'm not saying these are correct - but the time of year is right, and we have form for having Warrior/New Balance leaks.

I actually like both of those. I wouldn't buy either without seeing them in the flesh first though.

Best corner and free kick I've seen from a Liverpool player in two years

That Brannagan lad has great crossing and delivery of the ball so far, some nice touches from Tex and Lovren has been solid, pleased with that first half considering how much time this team has been playing together.

That's what, the 12th nail in bentekes lfc career coffin?

    Also, just lol Enrique.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,953 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Benteke wasn't just alright, he was easily the worst player in red. He doesn't even deserve to start in the cup games, give Ojo a shot.

Benteke. Showing what a disastrous signing he was.

Hopefully he'll be out the door in the summer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,347 ✭✭✭✭Grayditch

I thought we were ok in the first half, but toothless throughout. Now we've a replay that I dont think we'll win.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Playing Benteke is like having a diving bell upfront.

Everyone else knows there game but they don't want to know his and he can't mesh with theirs.

I thought we were better in the second half. I can't see Klopp playing a stronger team in the replay either, although they all did well tonight I thought. Benteke needs to be taken out the back and shot though.
