Biking roads app that you can navigate from

Just looking around the Play store and decided to see if the Best Biking Roads app got any better reviews, it hasn't. The show similar app had Twisty Road Finder which had better reviews so I installed it. Just had a quick look around Dublin and it has a few roads linked, but we've sod all good biking roads. Might be handy if you're somewhere unfamiliar and looking for a blast, the handy part from the app is it can be used to navigate to the route with Maps. I'm on Android so no idea if it's available for Apple.

You probably know this already but some of the satnav apps have a twisty roads/winding roads feature. Not sure about the Android version of Tomtom as that's gone payg, but the IPhone version of Tomtom has it and it's not bad at all.
Not cheap though..

Almost every road in the west is twisty owing to our sh*tty infrastructure.

Some great bends in connemara on par with any race track.

I've a Garmin Nuvi and Android phone only option is to avoid motorways and shortest route which is grand but could mean that I take a shorter route which isn't the best biking road. For free I'll try this.

What's the surface conditions though, some I've driven are more suited to an enduro or trials bike than a road bike. Never mind that the councils think sticking a 25km/h limit on a road they have just done surface dressing on is safe.

They've recently been resurfacing most of the scenic roads along the coast. I was surprised at the condition of them. I think it's to do this 'Wild Atlantic Way' tourism project.

Only started going out there 2 years ago. The road conditions may well have terrible before that.

This is the route I would recommend. Good road surface thoughout the majority of it. Done it lots of times myself on a bike.

N59 all the way up or down is one of the finest roads I've driven on the planet, for views and quality. Vastly underappreciated.

N59 is gorgeous but for the tourists.
I can understand you want to enjoy the scenery but it should not be an excuse for driving way too slow and pulling left and right without indication.

Last time I did it (mid last year), part between Westport and Clifden was a bit bumpy but Clifden-Galway was very good surface.
