I was talking to Tom recently. Its just over 500 for an 18T load.
Not sure if he'll do smaller.

Which crowd is Tom with? That's a good price if it's good top soil.

"Very soon we are going to Mars. You wouldn't have been going to Mars if my opponent won, that I can tell you. You wouldn't even be thinking about it."

I got a 10 tonne load during the summer.
He also has 1 tonne bags which can be collected from Scartaglin(he’s only a couple miles from Castleisland) if you have a trailer.

I think most locals will probably call it Jisk! Remember when there was confusion about how to pronounce Lidl? I knew someone who thought it was an acronym and would spell it out L.I.D.L., when I asked her what she thought the letters stood for she replied, 'something German, obviously.'

Ya jisk is kinda more memorable! Think I’ve a memory of Lidl been called Lie-dell early on when it came first. Though the worst must be ‘cex’ ....

What did it cost you? Was it topsoil or compost?

Can I ask what you used it for. 300 isn't bad

I'm looking at either the enrich which had compost and topsoil mixed or the compost on its own.

Used it even out a new lawn. Didn’t want the hassle of picking stones before seeding.
Lawn came up fantastic with no patches.

    Sounds like a plan.
Won't be getting it till February. My land needs to dry out a bit to let him reverse in off the road.
Does he use a tipper truck?

    Every year....

Obviously, they all live in a 5km radius of the mountain, too. Uncanny.

They should be prosecuted for being further than 5km from their homes. Even though that’s secondary to being on a dangerous mountain in terrible conditions.

To be honest, this time of year is paradise for the serious climbers however if this crowd went out without crampons etc in these conditions then they had no right being up there.

The Xmas get togethers that broke rules should be prosecuted as well.

But, this is Ireland. Laws are a starting point for negotiation for other people, no you.

Happened in Scotland. They were fined for being outside their area.
