Can't enable auto door locking - Leaf SVE

Yesterday I tried to enable the auto door locking function on my SVE Leaf so that the doors auto lock when I begin driving however I am unable to enable the function, despite following the instructions in the manual.

Has anyone with a Leaf managed to do it?

It does say in the manual (where available) so if it is a spec based thing, then I would have assumed the top spec Leaf would have it. Would it be a geographical thing....I doubt it as my Astra has it as does the Vel Satis!

I used leafspy pro to enable mine.

How do you do it with Leaf Spy?

I'd be interested in this too.

You need Leaf Spy Pro, there is a "enable service menu" in the settings and this allows you to set the door lock and read and clear error codes in the ECU.

Thanks Mad Lad. Not down that way very often as live in north Kildare and commute to Dublin but will see about popping down that way sometime if I can.

On a similar topic, is there any way to lock the passenger windows (front & back) BUT still allow only the driver to operate them?

Most of my driving is done without passengers so don't need to lock the windows (so the "window lock" button on the driver's door is deactivated), but with the kids (including a 4yo fascinated with putting anything he can get his hands on out the window), I invariably find it takes one of them to open the window to remind me to activate the "window lock" button. It's a tad dangerous.. not to mention the sudden ear-drum bursting I get when a rear window is opened!
