Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Have you tried Done Deal?

Don't go to Done Deal, it's full of puppy farms.

Assuming that a pedigree isn't that important rescues are stuffed full of terrier puppies.

If a pedigree is important you're better off contacting the breed club if you're leaning more toward showing or finding a reputable terrierman if you want it more for vermin control/working.

On a side note; I don't recommend them if you want a quiet life or have small children. They are an active breed that needs a lot of exercise and won't suffer mishandling well.

Contact the breed Club. There are several reputable breeders in Ireland. In fact they are also about to be recognised in the UK.

BTW there is no difference between show & working stock. You don't need to go to a ' Terrierman' They will all work & many show people also work their terriers.

Every rescue in the country has at least one JRT or JRT x. They're totally overbred in this country and litters are handed in all the time. Is there a particular reason you want a pup op?

The shelter I used to go to had a Jack russle room. At any one time they usually had at least 5 in. They often had puppies too.
A shelter is where I would start unless you have a specific reason for wanting to buy.
